This program is being supported by Fudoshin Martial Arts as well as the increasingly popular MAT Program (Martial Arts Therapy). Some of you may have already had experience with Fudoshin Martial Arts (at the Seaford Community Centre) or had MAT Program hosted at your school involving various Life Skills programs.
The 'Young Warriors Holiday Program' program will be run in the last 3 weeks of January and is being hosted by Fudoshin Martial Arts at the Seaford Community Centre and in the Langwarrin Hall. The program has been put together to address various social, physical and mental issues in youth development. The program engages children of Primary School age (i.e. 6-12) in a fun and energetic way, educating themselves about how to move their body and think about themselves in a positive way. The program is based on the MAT ideals of teaching our 'Young Warriors' the 'Code' of behaviour
BE STRONG - BE CALM - BE KIND - TRY HARD!
The sessions will run from 9:00am to 12:30pm, Monday to Friday. The program is offered at a very competitive price with options of daily, weekly and whole program pricing.
Per session: $30
Per week: $125
Whole program (3 weeks): $330
This program helps to cross-support community projects and aims.
